Julie has been a life long Republican with family ties to the party dating back to her grandfather who served on the Virginia Electoral College in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Julie and her husband have owned real estate in Walton County since 2008 and became full time residents in 2012 upon retirement. Prior to retirement, she held various positions in her family real estate management company in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Stephanie is the epitome of a local. She was born and grew up in Panama City, one of many generations of her family that originally traveled to our area from the north in search of the perfect place to call home. Just like those before her, she is proud to call the panhandle her home. She has been blessed with three children, Zachary, Matthew and Lauren. Being their mom has literally been the best adventure she has ever experienced. Now that they are adults, she is officially an empty nester- and able to really pursue her dreams and goals.
As a successful Realtor of 20 years, with the encouragement and support of family, friends and clients, she is now the owner and broker of Resort Real Estate Group. She could not be more excited (or terrified) about this new journey and all the possibilities that lie ahead. As a Florida native, she has a passion for the Emerald Coast. She supports her community as a member of some amazing groups – Impact 100, The Green Thumb Garden Club, Vice President of Bayside HOA, and now as our newly elected Vice President of Membership of the WRWF! She could not be more honored to serve our organization and hope to fulfill every expectation and work to continue to build a larger and stronger republican presence in Walton County.
Betty moved to Sandestin in 2012 from north of Cincinnati, Ohio, where she grew up. She became a high school English teacher and later a court reporter, retiring from the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Sixth Circuit. She has two children and four grandchildren.
Betty feels South Walton is such a wonderful area, both the residents and the landscape, that she knew this was where she wanted to spend her retirement years. She is very happy living here doing what she can to preserve the tranquility and beauty amid the seasonal influx of tourists. This is her happy place!
Lisa has been living in south Walton for the last 7 years with her son, Drew. She served as President of WRWF from 2018-2019. Politics is her passion as well as her involvement and work with non-profits. She enjoys working on elections and supporting campaigns and candidates. Lisa is on the Board of Directors for the Walton County Small Business Association, Walton Academy, and Emerald Coast Seniors. She has been traveling to Honduras for the past 7 years involved in mission work. Lisa currently is the district representative for the panhandle with the Florida Federated Republican Women (FFRW) and is a member of Destiny Worship Center.
